Theatre Picasso Exhibition at Tate Modern: A Grand Performance That Fails to Stir
Tate Modern’s Theatre Picasso explores the artist’s love of performance — from dancers to stage designs — but despite striking works like The Three Dancers and Weeping Woman, the exhibition feels more like a patchwork than a story. Picasso’s ego takes centre stage, and while there’s plenty to admire, it never quite stirs the heart the way the 2002 Matisse–Picasso show once did.
