A Winter Walk to Rebel Wood, Isle of Skye
Skye has a way of pulling you back with its wild weather, unfinished business, and scenery so beautiful it forgives everything. This February we returned to finally reach Rebel Wood, a quiet memorial grove for Joe Strummer. A gentle track, a triumphant river crossing, and views of snow‑tipped Cuillin made the walk feel magically Skye—peaceful, simple, and worth every step.
