Having recently swapped South London for Sussex, we knew about Lewes Bonfire Night, but we had no idea the entire county seemed to celebrate Bonfire Season. From torchlit processions and flaming barrels to centuries-old traditions, Sussex takes 5 November to another level. After getting our first taste in Eastbourne, we discovered that Lewes is just the beginning of one of Britain's most spectacular autumn traditions.
