Think of England - film review
What begins as a bizarre wartime rumour soon becomes something far darker. Inspired by the myth that Churchill's government commissioned pornographic films for British troops, Think of England swaps the quirky charm of Whisky Galore! for an unsettling tale of secrets, coercion and survival on a remote Orkney island. Strong performances from Natalie Quarry and Jack Bandeira keep you invested, but despite a fascinating premise, the film never quite fulfils its potential.
