Autumn Fig salad with Parma Ham, Goat's Cheese and a Balsamic glaze

Are you looking for a quick and tasty light lunch? I love figs, which are now in season, but I sometimes struggle what to do with them that isn't dessert related. Inspired by an old Jamie Oliver recipe that used nectarines and Parma ham I created my own version using figs and a ready made balsamic glaze - it's ok to cheat sometimes!

This salad is simplicity itself, and takes minutes to assemble. I didn't have any rocket, which I think would have been even nicer. I'm trying to be good, so didn't go wild on the quantity of cheese, of course you can add more as you see fit. I think that a smaller portion would work nicely as a starter.
