This remarkable production first visited in 2019 at London’s Southbank centre. And from the 15th of July it will return to the iconic venue of the Roundhouse in Camden.
Jean-Paul Gaultier has very strong connections with London, having been a constant visitor since his youth. At a recent Q&A he said: “I am thrilled that Fashion Freak show is returning to London and the Roundhouse. I cannot think of a better place for it than my favourite city. London is very dear to my heart and is a constant source of inspiration.”
Jean-Paul Gaultier has had a long and diverse career. Ranging from Fashion to Fragrance to TV and music. Having announced his retirement from Fashion in 2020 it seems that the stage was on his mind as the next project for his highly creative and rebellious mind.
Fashion Freak Show is a spectacular, explosive mix of a fashion show and a revue that Gaultier stated was partly biographical.
The Roundhouse is an amazing venue in it’s own right and is very adaptable and with the inclusion of a catwalk will feel very much “in the round” allowing you to get very close to the action. This is a must-see for anyone interested in Fashion or theatre. But it goes much further than that and is sheer entertainment for all.
Running from the 15th of July to the 28th of August 2022, a total of 52 shows are available for priority sign-up. Tickets range from £15-£120.
