Lobster linguine in a creamy tomato sauce
I love lobster, but the cost of a fresh one can be a bit eye-watering. Luckily it's that time of year when frozen whole lobsters are available from the supermarkets at a very reasonable price. Whilst not as succulent as a freshly cooked one, with careful preparation it's easy to make a simple pasta dish into something a lot more luxurious. This recipe is an adaptation of one by Gordon Ramsay.
This is the perfect date night dish at home, especially when served with a Col Fondo Prosecco, or increase the quantity and this would happily grace a dinner party. Why not give it a try?
